Becoming a Catholic

How do I become a Catholic?

RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation)

Now is the time….

  • Have you been wondering if the Catholic
Faith is the faith home for you?

  • Have you been attending Mass with your
spouse or family, but never joined our faith
    family?

  • Were you baptized in the Catholic faith but
never received the sacraments of Eucharist
    and Confirmation?

  • Would like your family to be united in one
    faith expression?

  • Is there anyone you know that you would like
to invite to be a part of our faith community?

If you are considering becoming Catholic or want to complete your Sacraments of Initiation (Eucharist and Confirmation) in the Catholic faith, or have questions whether OCIA is right for you, please contact the parish office at 630-530-8515 or [email protected]  We will be glad to answer any questions you may have.

OCIA (Order of Christian Initiation of Adults) sessions will begin in the fall with reception of the sacraments taking place at the Easter Vigil. The program includes instruction on the Scripture and Tradition of the Catholic Church.  Sessions are held on Sunday mornings at 10:15 am in the RE Resource Room.
