Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion
The role of Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion is to minister the Body and Blood of Christ to the assembled faithful. Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion symbolize the service each of us is called to through our Baptism. As lay ministers of Holy Communion, we bring the true presence of Jesus Christ to His people.
Lectors play a key role in the celebration of Mass as Ministers of the Word who proclaims God’s Word to the assembled faith community. Liturgical proclamation of the Word is an awesome responsibility to which one is called and into which one is formed.
Music inspires us and brings us closer to God in our liturgical celebrations. Music ministers donate their time and talent to enhance our services and sing praise.
Sacristans serve the church by keeping the vestments, vessels and linens used in the liturgy clean and in a ready-to-use state at all times.
Ushers welcome and assist all visitors to Immaculate Conception Church and Chapel.
